With the city of Barcelona filled with lights, markets and ice rinks at Christmas time, this parade is the finishing touch to the festivities and is considered to be the most magical night of the year.
It is the time of year when finally Balthazar, Gaspar and Belchior arrive in the Catalonian capital and fill the streets with joy, presenting gifts to the children who have been good that year.
A night that promises a shower of sweets - all you have to do is take a big empty bag to collect as much candy as you can!

Usually, the parade passes through some places in the centre of Barcelona. However, this year the route has changed, so as to avoid the main streets and squares in the city centre.
The parade starts at 6 pm during the afternoon of 5 January in Avinguda del Marqués de la Argentera, between Pla de Palau and Parc de la Ciutadella.
The streets and respective times through which the parade will pass are:
06:00pm - Avinguda del Marquès de l'Argenteria with Passeig de la Circumval-lació
06:20pm - Passeig de Colom
07:15pm - Avinguda del Paral-lel
07:30pm - Ronda de Sant Pau
07:45pm - Sant Antoni Market 08:15pm - Sepúlveda street
08:35pm - Plaça d'Espanya
09:00 pm - Avinguda de la Reina Maria Cristina (Magic Fountain of Montjuïc)
- WHAT'S NEW AT THE CABALGATA DE REYES 2023?
In addition to the return of the rain of sweets (this event was suspended for 2 years due to the pandemic), this year's parade will have a significant technological advance, with six new floats (3 of which will be over 20 metres long).
You can also expect synchronised music and lights programmed to make this parade as magical as possible.
