The capital of Catalonia is a wonderful city and that's not news, but what many people don't know is that on Sundays there are many museums in Barcelona that are free. Here you will find a list of some of them.

1. MNAC - National Art Museum of Catalonia

The National Art Museum of Catalonia is a Catalan visual art museum, located near Plaza España. First of all, the museum is especially notable for its remarkable collection of Romanesque church paintings and Catalan art and design from, for example, the late 19th and early 20th century, including modernism and noucentism. It has been located in the Palau National since 1934 and was declared a national museum in 1990, the year in which a process of rehabilitation of the site began in preparation for the 1992 Olympics. You can visit this museum free of charge every first Sunday of the month, every Saturday from 3 p.m. and on opening days, but advance tickets must be booked online to better control capacity.
