Last Wednesday, 5 October, the Plaza Universo of Fira Montjuïc Barcelona kicked off the 9th edition of Oktoberfest, which will run until the 16th.
The beer festival, with German origins, is now a tradition that is celebrated every year for five days and features cultural, musical, and gastronomic activities and a lot of beer in the mix.
Visitors have the opportunity to witness a competition of typical Bavarian costumes, watch the special performance of Dj Xavi More as well as various musical groups and, finally, enjoy the traditional Bavarian food with 11 different types of dishes.
