Joan Fontcuberta's famous kissing wall is situated in the heart of the Gothic Quarter.
The story behind this artwork goes through an appeal made on Instagram by the photographer along with the Catalan Newspaper for people to submit photos that represent "moments of freedom".
In a total of 4000 photos, these were transformed into small tiles that all together give rise to the great Barcelona Kiss.
A mural that has become an obligatory stop for all those passing through Barcelona.
