1. Tibidabo ice rink
During the festive season, the Tibidabo amusement park has an ice rink open to the public.
The rink is located in Plaça dels Somnis and will be open from 26 November to 5 January, whenever the park is open.
This rink is 200 square metres in size and is made of synthetic material (but allows you to get very similar sensations to skating on real ice). Specifically, the rink is made of polyethene panels, a new material that does not require energy consumption, as it does not need water or electricity to be maintained.
Access is included in the entrance fee to the amusement park, but there is also the possibility of using the rink without visiting the rest of the Park, paying 5 euros.
2. Ice rink in the Port Vell
One of the main new features of the 2022 Christmas Fair in Barcelona's Port Vell is the installation of a large synthetic ice rink.
This ice rink is sustainable and covers 400 m². It’s located in the Plaza del Portal de la Pau and will be open from 5 December 2022 to 5 January 2023 from 11 am to 10 pm. Plus, it has free admission. It couldn't get any better!
3. Solidarity ice rink Finestrelles
The ice rink at Finestrelles Shopping Centre has up to 160 square metres and is made of sustainable synthetic material, and all the profits raised will go to the Red Cross for food needs and energy poverty.
This rink will be open from Friday 25 November to 5 January from 17h-21h on weekdays and from 11h-14h and 16h-21h on public holidays and weekends and everyone is welcome (from 3 years old).
4. Ice rink at the Illa Diagonal
If you want to skate in the purest American style, don't miss the ice rink at the Illa Diagonal shopping centre. Ideal, above all, for the youngest members of the family, the Illa Diagonal ice rink is located right in the shopping centre, in the outdoor area, next to the terraces. For children who don't know how to skate, there will be penguin-shaped dolls to help them keep their balance and make it easier for them to learn.
This ice rink will be open from 26 November to 9 January, from 11 am to 9 pm on weekends and public holidays, and from 5 pm to 9 pm on weekdays. You can enjoy 25 minutes on the ice rink for only 5 euros and 50 minutes on the rink for 7 euros.
5. La Maquinista ice rink
La Maquinista shopping centre is celebrating Christmas as it should. They have reinstalled their traditional ice rink so that everyone can enjoy it once the shopping is over.
To access the ice rink you must be a member of the Westfield La Maquinista Club and present a purchased ticket for that day with a minimum value of €10.
Access will be for one person per Club member and ticket, and each adult can enter with two minors. And if that wasn't enough: on Fridays 16, 23 and 30 December there will be a show at 6.30pm!

- Monday to Thursday - 4.30 pm to 8.30 pm
- Saturdays, Sundays, 8th December and from 22nd December to 4th January - from 11.00 am to 2.00 pm and from 4.00 pm to 9.00 pm
- 24 and 31 December and 5 January - from 10.00 am to 2.00 pm and from 3.00 pm to 7.00 pm
- Closed on 6, 25 and 26 December and 1 January.
6. Ice rink in Nou Barris
The Vilaplicina neighbourhood and Torre Llobeta also have an ice rink. It is located in the Can Xiringoi gardens and measures 20 x 8 metres. The rink is made of synthetic ice, as it is more ecological and saves electricity.
You can enjoy this impressive ice rink from 10 December to 8 January. The price is 6 euros for 20 minutes. However, the price is reduced to 3 € if you buy in the establishments of the four associated axes and in the Mercat de la Mercè.
