On the Passion Façade of the Temple Expiatori de la Sagrada Família, we can see a magic square containing numbers ranging from 1 to 15, which allow us to add 310 different combinations that, when added horizontally, vertically or diagonally, will result in the number 33.
The meaning of the square clearly represents a tribute to the theoretical age attributed to Christ when he died, at 33 years old.
It could be defined as an "almost magical" square because it breaks two rules of pure magic squares: there must be no repeated numbers and the numbers must form a series of consecutive ones.
