THE DISTRICT

La Barceloneta is one of the most popular and most charismatic neighbourhoods in Barcelona. It is a maritime neighbourhood full of magic and history that is located in the district of Port Vell.
The neighbourhood has a triangular shape and borders on the Olympic Port, the Ronda Litoral and the sea, including the beaches of Barceloneta, Somorrostro, Sant Sebastià and Sant Miquel.

The past of La Barceloneta
Until the mid-eighteenth century Barceloneta was a practically uninhabited area. In 1754 the fishermen began to settle in this area of the city due to its proximity to the sea.
Despite having acquired a more modern look, La Barceloneta still retains its special charm. Its narrow streets and facades obscured by sea salt have made this area one of the most prized of Barcelona, a place with a calm, seaworthy and family atmosphere that remains alien to the big city.

WHAT TO VISIT

One of the main attractions of the neighbourhood are its beaches, the largest, best-known and busiest in the city. They have a great atmosphere and excellent services.
The streets of Barceloneta are very pleasant and peculiar; narrow alleyways full of old buildings, churches and some places that have preserved their decoration for almost 200 years.
The area of the neighbourhood closest to the sea has a more modern landscape, although the old traditions are still preserved and at the end of the afternoon it is possible to contemplate the arrival of the fishing boats that unload their catch to make an auction with the freshest fish.
To discover the charm of the neighbourhood nothing better than getting lost in its narrow streets without worrying about the direction, stopping to taste the freshest fish in any of the restaurants in the area.
In addition to its natural attraction, the neighbourhood has many places of interest among which we could highlight the Museum of History of Catalonia or the Clock Tower, the oldest building in the area that was built in 1772 to function as a port lighthouse.
At the Barceloneta Beach it is possible to take the cable car to reach the Miramar Miramar and enjoy the views of the port.
Just a few steps from La Barceloneta, in the area of Port Vell, you can do some shopping in the Maremagnum shopping centre, watch a movie in the modern IMAX cinemas or immerse yourself in the marine world at the Aquarium.

Conditions of reservation

1.The apartment is consider booked after all documents and payment are received.
2.The payments received in concept of the rent will not be returned if the tenant resigns to the rental contract.
3. The reservation will be automatically cancelled if payment of the entire reservation has not been received by the start of the contract.
4. Acceptance of the reservation is subject to the approval of the owner.

a. Title of incorporation of the company,
b. Title accrediting the faculties of the legal representative of the company,
c. Corporate income tax filed in the last fiscal year (model 200).

Payments

Once the documents has been received you will receive instructions on how to proceed with different payments during your reservation.
To reserve the apartment, you must pay the minimum amount corresponding to a monthly fee plus 10% of the total amount to the rental contract. 

• Deposit: equivalent to 2 months of renting ( consult for stays of less than 3 months)
• Agency fee: non-refundable. The agency commission corresponds to 10% of the total amount of the contract and must be paid when confirming the reservation plus the month of renting.

Utilities

The utilities will be included in the total amount of the reservation, but up to a monthly amount between 90 € and 250 € per month depending on the square meters of the apartment. If the amount stipulated in the contract is exceeded, it will be deducted from the deposit. 

Signing the contract

Once we have received the payment and the documents required, your reservation will be confirmed and you will have to sign a contract with the rental conditions which will include the duration of the stay, the established costs and the terms and conditions of the use of the apartment. The signature of the contract will be made on the day of the delivery of the keys if all the documents and payments have been delivered.  

Security deposit

You will have to pay a security deposit that will depend on the duration of your stay:
- 1 month: 500 €
- 2 months: 700 €
- 3 months: 900 €
If your reservation is longer than 4 months you will have to pay 1 or 2 months as a security deposit depending on the duration of your stay.
The deposit is used to guarantee coverage of any damage caused to the apartment or its contents. By accepting our terms and conditions of use, you agree that any damage caused by you or any of your companions will be deducted from the deposit and that you will also be responsible for any damage exceeding the value of the deposit.
The deposit will be refunded within 30 days after the end of the contract, provided that the client leaves the apartment clean and in good condition after the final inspection.

You must inform us in advance of your approximate arrival time so that we can schedule your check-in. Please keep us informed in case of any changes or delays.
